We hit the ground running! The trip was great and we certainly built some family memories that will be shared for years to come. We came back to camp in full swing! I am just now getting back into the swing of things around here. Summer staff, team x, leadership kids, staff issues, all the great stuff that is summer camp for us! I have confidence that God has us here and now. It's a good feeling to be where God wants you when he wants you there.
Thought of the day: Margin. In today's world, you have to actively manage your life to maintain margin - an "excess" of time, money, energy, and emotional capacity! Ministry happens in the "margin" of life. Protect your schedule, say no to the "good" things, get more sleep, share something with your spouse, and don't buy something - you'll enjoy the margin.
