Gettysburg

Today we toured Gettysburg. We rode on the top of a double decker bus and drove all over the battlefield, which spanned miles in and around the town of Gettysburg. This was the sight of the 3-day long battle that turned the tide of the Civil War. From this point on, the Union Army dominated the rest of the war.

From Gettysburg, we drove to Philadelphia, were we are now and are planning on another fun-filled day tomorrow! (And Dad and Ryan are excited about eating an authentic Philly cheese steak sandwich!)

I'm loving the pictures and captions. It's like being right there with you, but without the tiredness and travel time. :) :) Tell Maddy I'm praying for her.
Love ya.
